Susanne “Sue” Sullivan, 87, departed this life for her heavenly home on, July 3rd, 2024. Born on February 3rd, 1937, in Pilot Point, Texas; she grew up in Waco, Texas. She married the love of her life, Charles “Chuck” Sullivan, on March 26, 1955. They were married for 55 wonderful years; prior to Chuck’s passing on October 10th, 2010. As a family they lived in Missouri, Delaware, Louisiana, and Mississippi. They moved to Oklahoma City, in 1969. She proudly obtained her bachelor’s degree from Central State College, aka University of Central Oklahoma. Sue became a history teacher at Putnam City Schools from 1970 to 1995.

Survivors include her children: Paul (Lori) Sullivan, Steve (Linda) Sullivan, and Karen (Blair) Hoey; granddaughters Tara (Adrian) Savedra, Tiffany (Chase) Mason, and Stacy (Benjamin) Stall; great-grandchildren A. J. and Arman Savedra; Ava, Ani, and Alivia Mason; and Amelia and Charles Stall.

The family will receive friends during viewing from 2 to 4 PM on Sunday, July 7th, 2024, at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 8701 Northwest Expressway, Oklahoma City, OK 73162. A celebration of life will be held at the funeral home at 10:30 AM, Monday, July 8th, 2024. In lieu of flowers and in remembrance of Sue’s life, the family asks that you make donations to your charity of choice.
