Vice President Harris plans another campaign trip to Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Vice President Kamala Harris has set a campaign event in Las Vegas, her second visit to the state in as many weeks.

The Biden campaign tells News 3 that Harris will campaign in the valley on Tuesday, July 9.

"The event will highlight the stakes of the election for Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities," the campaign said in a statement.

Harris was in Las Vegas this past Friday for a post-presidential debate event focused on Latino voters.

Nevada is considered a key battleground state in the race for the White House this year, and the Biden campaign has made it a focal point. Both Harris and President Joe Biden have made multiple visits to the state so far this year.

For Harris, next week's event would be her sixth visit to Nevada.
