The study, conducted by Booking.com, reveals that 92 percent of Indian LGBTQ+ travellers have experienced discrimination behaviour from both their fellow travellers (79 percent) and locals at their chosen destinations (81 percent).

Booking.com’s latest LGBTQ+ travel research reveals over half (59 percent) of LGBTQ+ travelers have experienced discrimination when traveling, with 43 percent of respondents having canceled a trip within the past year after seeing a destination be unsupportive of LGBTQ+ people.
