Newnham College was founded 150 years ago with the belief that education is for everyone, and we remain committed to increasing access to higher education in general, and to the University of Cambridge in particular.
Newnham College is committed to encouraging talented students from all backgrounds to apply to the University of Cambridge. In order to support such students, Holly Nicholls, our Schools Liaison and Outreach Officer, supported by the Admissions Tutor, Admissions Coordinator and JCR Access Officer, runs a wide range of events throughout the academic year. These aim to provide information and guidance about topics including higher education, Oxbridge applications and student life. The team works with students of all different ages and experiences, whether they are already considering applying to Cambridge or not.
