In Game 1, it was clear that Brooklyn wanted to make someone other than 76ers center Joel Embiid beat them. Advice and prediction
Game 1 is usually a feeling out game for both teams in the series as each squad is trying to figure out the tendencies of the opponent especially given the stakes of the matchup. Brooklyn was able to keep up with Philadelphia thanks to Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson, but it became clear that the Nets have to come up with a different defensive strategy if they want to beat the 76ers. Philadelphia won handily and that was because of how well they shot the ball, but they most likely won’t be able to count on that level of shooting again. Game 1 went above the over/under so Game 2 may be a good bet for that as well.
