SALT LAKE CITY — The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 102-92 in the Salt Lake City Summer League at Delta Center on Monday.

There was only one lead change in this game, with Philadelphia taking command with a 32-25 second quarter. The 76ers never relinquished the lead after that, getting their lead up to 19 in the fourth quarter. Philadelphia shot 48.7% from the field while holding the Thunder to 39.3% shooting. Philadelphia also outscored Oklahoma City in points off of turnovers, 23-9, while outscoring the Thunder in the paint, 54-36.

The 76ers (1-0) were led by Ricky Council IV, who collected 29 points and eight rebounds. Jeff Dowtin tallied 15 points, three rebounds, four assists and three steals. Jared McCain compiled 15 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals, while Keve Aluma led the bench with 12 points, eight rebounds and two assists.

The Thunder (0-1) were led by Adam Flagler, who finished with 18 points, four rebounds and three assists. Ajay Mitchell amassed 14 points, three rebounds, four assists and three steals. Dillon Jones totaled nine points, 10 rebounds and seven assists, while Ousmane Dieng had 10 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals.

Both teams return to action Tuesday, with Oklahoma City playing the Utah Jazz and Philadelphia facing the Memphis Grizzlies.
