Why does this job exist and why is it critical?

Maxis’ Professional Training and Education for Growing Entrepreneurs (PROTÉGÉ) programme is our commitment to helping young Malaysian talents and our nation to always be ahead and to add value to the national economy. We are offering an opportunity for you to be part of the PROTÉGÉ programme at Maxis, which aims to develop and guide you with necessary skills and experience to get ahead in this ever changing world. The programme will be for 12 months and will have a combination of intensive soft skill classroom training and on-the-job training opportunities. You will learn practical skills and real-life experiences at Maxis that will help guide you towards a successful future.

What Are You Accountable For

• Perform duties authorized by specific laws and regulations such as enforcement, financial, procurement or compliance tasks;
• Handle sensitive tasks involving potential safety threats and requiring access to and management of classified files and documents and
• Sensitive task such as big risk threat towards safety and needs for access and file/documents management in different level.
• Sign official documents or make official decisions on behalf of the government such as approving building plans, granting research loans, etc.
• Provide social services such as caring for the elderly, children, disabled in nursing homes or
• Work on seasonal, ad-hoc, project or program-based tasks like data entry, census taking, etc.
  
  

What Do You Need To Have For The Role

• Malaysian citizen
• Fresh graduates with a minimum qualification of Bachelor’s Degree in in IT, Science or Software Engineering from any local or foreign higher learning institution that is recognised by the Government of Malaysia
• Proficient in oral and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Obtain CGPA 3.0 and above (or equivalent)
• Strong interpersonal and intrapersonal skills
• Computer literacy in basic Microsoft Office
• Strong team player, self-motivated, driven and willing to learn
• Preference will be given to graduates with no prior working experience and who are currently unemployed
