The Malaysian AEON Foundation (MAF) successfully concluded the Smart Classroom 2023: Teachers' Workshop, with 23 teachers from 12 schools across several states participating. The workshop focused on innovative methods and technological strategies to enhance classroom learning. Thank you to all participants and partners for making this event a success!

The Malaysian AEON Foundation (MAF) successfully concluded our Smart Classroom 2023: Teachers' Workshop! We were thrilled to have 23 teachers from 12 schools across Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Perak, Selangor, Melaka, and Kelantan join us. The workshop aimed to equip them with innovative methods and insights on effectively implementing diverse strategies using technology in their classrooms, fostering dynamic and engaging learning environments for both teachers and students. We are grateful to our program partners LeapEd Services, SNS Network: Classroom IT, 4Pillars Learning, AEON Insurance Brokers & FWD Takaful, and AEON Bank for their invaluable support. Together, we are empowering educators to create impactful and technologically advanced learning spaces. Thank you to all participants and partners for contributing to the success of this event!

The Malaysian AEON Foundation (MAF) spread joy and happiness among the children of Hospital Tunku Azizah (HTA) with a buka puasa treat, along with donations and fun-filled activities as part of the AEON Mesra Ramadan programme. Earlier in the day, MAF also distributed 1,000 packs of bubur lambuk to patients, visitors, and frontline workers at HTA. The preparation and distribution of bubur lambuk for this program were done collaboratively by AEON volunteers, HTA volunteers, and local authorities. The AEON Mesra initiative, which began in 2005, aims to alleviate the burdens faced by underprivileged families and children during festive seasons.

In a heartfelt response to the earthquake that struck the Ishikawa prefecture in Japan on New Year's Day 2024, the Malaysian AEON Foundation (MAF) and AEON Credit (M) Berhad (ACS) successfully concluded the Japan Earthquake Donation Drive, raising a sum of RM500,000.00. The donation was officially presented by Datuk Iskandar Sarudin, Chairman of AEON and President of MAF, and Ng Eng Kiat, Chairman of ACS to His Excellency Takahashi Katsuhiko, the Ambassador of Japan. The Japan Earthquake Donation Drive, initiated by MAF, AEON CO. and ACS on January this year, garnered contributions from individuals, stakeholders, and customers. The initiative brought together communities by encouraging donations through loose coin boxes strategically placed at AEON Stores and AEON Malls nationwide. Donations were also made through the AEON Foundation website, the touchNgo platform, and via QR Code.

We are so grateful with the opening of our 35th store, AEON Setia Alam. This event represents another significant milestone, building on the success of our Putrajaya branch launched just a year ago. We extend our heartfelt appreciation for the overwhelming support received during the opening day. Rest assured, we remain committed to enhancing the shopping experience each time our valued customers choose AEON.
