Project Manager

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Development Project Manager, you will play a key role in driving the success of our development projects. You will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, managing a team of professionals, and ensuring the timely and successful completion of each project. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic vision, project management expertise, and leadership skills to excel in this role.

You will be responsible for supervising and directing all aspects of the development process, working closely with a team of design, construction, legal, finance, and property management. Each day will be unique, your job is to take decisions and find creative solutions that bring us closer to our vison of creating legendary experiences by developing the best product in the multifamily rental industry. This will be an extraordinary opportunity to better understand the real estate development industry. Your role does not require a degree in architecture or construction but rather have critical thinking, logic, curiosity, and a lot of drive to be a problem solver. The position reports to Head of Development.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead the development team in the execution of multifamily projects from inception to completion.
• Manage all aspects of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Oversee the selection and coordination of consultants and contractors.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the development team, including training, mentoring, and performance management.
• Report project status, financial performance, and key metrics to investors on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Drive innovation and process improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
• Create, implement, and enforce process controls to achieve and monitor project progress and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks and issues while maintaining adherence to established processes and controls.
• Participate with Business Development to identify and analyze new development opportunities.
• Contribute with innovative ideas for the development of new products, tools, materials, artificial intelligence apps to help us do our work better.
• Weekly or monthly visits to developments under construction to make sure program is being met and product quality is being executed according to standards.

Highly Valued

• Experience in the U.S. Development industry (MUST)
• 5 to 7 years of experience in Project Management of any kind.
• Bachelor´s degree in engineering.
• You must possess a strong analytical mindset as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good command of English, both verbal and written.
• Proven proficiency in Excel and Power Point.
