The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the manufacturing processes. This role involves ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products, managing production schedules, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet the demands of our clients. The Manufacturing Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with industry standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and managing a team of skilled professionals.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Achievement of daily, weekly and monthly KPIs, Dashboards and targets.
Financial Analysis (Annual Forecast and Budget exercises)
Focusing on the continuous improvement in health and safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
Hold accountability for daily operation and meeting production goals in a timely and accurate manner within an assembly process or similar assigned area.
Implement activities in the production area to ensure timely, high-quality production at the lowest cost consistent with the quality requirements.
Provide focus to the production team to execute to quality, schedule and cost expectations.
Implements given operating plans and operating budget. Execute given priorities to ensure the most efficient and effective production schedule and staffing plan. Executes to the given budget targets. Develops daily plans to meet production needs.
Implement and executes specific components of quality improvement, Lean and Six Sigma programs. Accountable for reduction of cost and waste within production. Improves productivity by implementing best practices.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Engineering any field and master's degree preferred.
Bilingual (English / Spanish)
Minimum 8 years manufacturing experience required.
Demonstrated excellent employee and customer relations.
Previous experience coordinating efforts with support areas to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
Experience in manufacturing methodologies and knowledge of problem-solving techniques.
Experience running multiple complex projects and integrated cross functional teams.
Strong communication skills and resource management skills
Lean manufacturing / six sigma methodology
