🏎 Behind the Scenes of the VUHL 05 Monocoque 🏎 We are proud to have supported VUHL since 2013 in manufacturing the innovative X-Vario monocoque for their iconic 05 model. This unique platform, crafted from 6061-T6 aluminum extrusions + aluminum honeycomb + carbon fiber panels is renowned for its extreme torsional stiffness and low weight, allowing for precise suspension tuning for both road and track use. 🔧 Our meticulous manufacturing process involves: ✅ Bond & rivet 200+ aluminum and carbon fiber parts. ✅ Careful application of 3M aerospace-grade adhesive. ✅ In-oven curing process of the complete assembly. ✅ 10 detailed operations executed over 40 man-hours. ✅ 10 quality gates to ensure each X-Vario monocoque meets the highest standards. 🏁 The result? A structure that is capable of withstanding more than 20,000 Nm per degree of torsional rigidity at only 78 kg! This enables the VUHL 05 to hold multiple track records around the world.
