Another Helena Capital Bruin football player has committed to the Montana Grizzlies.
The latest is rising senior Merek Mihelish, who is part of the 2025 recruiting class. Mihelish announced the commitment on social media on Thursday, saying that he was "excited to announce that I have committed to the Griz."
Mihelish, who led the Bruins to the state semifinals last season in his first full year as a starter, is also an all-state hurdler and took second in the 110-hurdles as a sophomore.
The quarterback has been offered by Carroll College, Montana Tech, Montana Western and Dickinson State. Mihelish started at quarterback last season for the Bruins (7-4) and accounted for nearly 2,500 total yards with 1,541 passing yards and 15 touchdown passes, as well as 930 rushing yards and seven scores.
