Monk fruit infusions are a traditional Chinese food which have a history of use dating back centuries. By the early 1900’s monk fruit infusions were being consumed by Chinese communities in North America and Europe where they are still consumed to this day. Our monk fruit infusion is a 100% natural, great-tasting, low-calorie food with a unique sweet taste. To reduce shipping costs and carbon emissions during transport we remove some of the water to make a concentrated monk fruit infusion which we sell to food and beverage companies in the UK and EU. Because our concentrated monk fruit infusion is regulated in the UK and EU as a food, as opposed to a food additive or sweetener, it has a unique positioning as a consumer-friendly, clean-label, fruit-based ingredient which can significantly reduce added sugar. Like all Monk Fruit Corp’s monk fruit products our concentrated monk fruit infusion has a clean sweet taste without bitterness. REGULATORY

In the UK and EU Monk Fruit Corp’s concentrated monk fruit infusion is regulated as a not-novel food following UK FSA’s decision that monk fruit decoctions were consumed as food in the UK to a significant degree before May 1997. As a result, Monk Fruit Corp’s concentrated monk fruit infusion can be used in the UK and EU in most foods and beverages at any use level.
