It has been announced that the girl band, Boys World, is splitting after just five years together – and fans are devastated.

American pop group, Boys World, formed just five years ago in 2019 and has just announced they are set to part ways.

The group were best known for their songs So What and Girlfriends, and amassed legions of fans.

In an emotional two-and-a-half-minute post on TikTok, the five-part girl group revealed that they were calling time on the group.

‘What we’re about to say is very hard for us to wrap our heads around. ‘But after five beautiful, unforgettable years, we are disbanding,’ Olivia Ruby began.

‘We’ve created so many beautiful memories, and we are so grateful for everything we’ve accomplished together,’ said Lillian Kay, 22, as she held back tears.

Most of all, we’re grateful that it’s been with each other,’ she added. ‘And after everything, we still have each other, and that’s the most important part.’

Makhyli Simpson, 21, then added: ‘So many of our dreams have come true, and we’re so blessed and so lucky to have travelled around the country and perform our music.

‘And obviously the best part of it all was just being able to meet you guys, the STARS. We love you.’

Queenie Mae Villaluz, 23, noted that they were all pretty emotional about the news as they wiped away tears. ‘It’s sad. We’re all really f*****g sad about this.

The girls were crying throughout the video as they put on a united front.

‘Obviously, for the past five years, it’s always just been each other. We have went through so much in this group, and I can’t even imagine dealing with everything we went through without these girls. I’m so, so thankful for them,’ Queenie Mae added.

‘Change is really, really scary and uncomfortable for not just us, anyone out there. Especially when this has been our whole world for the past five years.’

She then touched on the fact that some of them may be set to pursue solo careers as she added: ‘But we are really excited to figure out what it is that we each individually want to pursue after this.

‘We really hope you that guys continue to support us individually.’
