Mission Moment: Medics Sent to Man Passing Out in Vehicle

Citizen’s Premium Agents are dedicated professionals who always tailor how they assist subscribers in order to best support user safety. Their quick thinking and compassionate approach are of particular help to Citizen Premium subscribers when they are in nerve wracking and stressful situations.

One such moment occurred recently when a Premium subscriber was feeling lightheaded and on the verge of passing out in their car. It was difficult for the subscriber to speak, so they connected with a Citizen Agent via video call, who was able to see that the subscriber was parked outside of a 7-Eleven and needed medical assistance. Acting as their eyes, ears and vocalizing for them, the Citizen Premium Agent relayed all visuals and location information to 911. While waiting on first responders, the Premium Agent comforted the subscriber and reminded them to relax and focus on their breathing.

The Citizen Agent also looped in the subscriber’s emergency contact so they were aware of what was happening. Shortly after an ambulance arrived, the caller started to feel better. As medics left and the emergency contact hung up, our Citizen Agent stayed with the subscriber on the call to make sure they felt 100% safe.
