Today, we are proud to introduce Voi’s first draft of its governance framework, starting with the release of a draft of the Voi Constitution. This marks a significant step in our commitment to ensuring that Voi remains run by the community.

Our mission is to forge a blockchain ecosystem that is accessible to everyone, grounded in principles of goodwill, integrity, collaboration, and intentionality. The Voi Constitution lays down the foundation of a decentralized network where no single person or entity holds all the power.

Governance Structure
Our governance model mirrors a tripartite system, adapted uniquely for Voi:
- Judicial: Safeguards our core principles and the integrity of the blockchain.
- Council: Comprises elected community members who draft and modify governance policies and propose new initiatives.
- Treasury: Approves and executes on the policies set forth by the Council and maintains the daily operations aligned with our community’s values.
This system is designed with robust checks and balances to prevent any one branch from overpowering the others, ensuring a balanced and fair decentralized governance model.
