How did an ordinary car driving simulator from 5$ become a 72,500€ earner?

Gaming income isn’t just about ads anymore. In fact, for the iOS version, up to 40% and for Android up to 20% of the revenue comes from in-game purchases, as shown in the screenshots. The overall project revenue is a combination of in-game purchases and ads on both iOS and Android platforms.

Let’s take a closer look into the story of Zafar and his game “Racing in Car 2021” and see how it changed from just a regular game to a money-making success.

Creating a game and monetizing it 4–5$ in a day

Initially, Zafar developed the driving simulator game and thought on how to further promote it. After creating the game, he turned to CAS.AI for assistance with promotion and monetization.

The first mediation platform generated $4–5 revenue per day with an average eCPM of $1.44, impressions of 3400 per day and fill rate of 62%.

Upon integrating CAS.AI mediation for the Android version on April 1, 2021, the number of active users immediately increased, as seen in real-time data. The number of new users of the game also increased immediately after connecting the CAS.AI mediation.

In May, we decided to switch to publishing, and this helped our client achieve a significant increase in revenue. By actively engaging new users, the publishing team managed to double the revenue from €1572.76 in April to €3680.68 in May.
