SRP and Kabat’s Ace Hardware Partner to Offer Free Shade Screen Workshops at the Mesa Home Improvement Expo

WHAT:

Salt River Project (SRP) and Kabat’s Ace Hardware are partnering to host a free in-person Shade Screen Workshop for SRP customers at the Sheraton Mesa Home Improvement Expo.

Shade screens can block a substantial amount of the sun’s heat, helping to lower electricity costs by 25% when added to windows that receive direct sunlight. During the workshops, ACE Hardware professionals will teach participants how to effectively measure, cut, and install shade screens.

All necessary materials will be provided at no cost to build one shade screen, and attendees only need to bring the window’s dimensions.  SRP customers can receive a rebate to offset the cost of materials purchased to build and install additional shade screens.
