Threat detection is not always a solution, sometimes it is the problem :D Blue Screen Worldwide! Thousands of planes down, shops closed, operations on hold and all because of an automated update. Looking forward to see more details on what actually caused it, but so far it looks like a really poor product management cycle. What happened? An update to CrowdStrike's Falcon Sensor has caused widespread issues for Windows 10 PCs, leading to crashes and the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD). Affected machines are unable to reboot (or go in reboot loop), severely impacting critical services. Official Response CrowdStrike is aware of the problem and has issued an advisory, though detailed information is restricted to customers.
