MAA publications and journals empower its members with the latest research and pedagogical articles

MAA Sections, Special Interest Groups of the MAA (SIGMAAs), MAA Connect strengthen our community and extend the reach of mathematicians. Active MAA members who reside in the United States and Canada have the benefit of being affiliated with one of its 29 regional sections, as defined by ZIP or postal code. Each section has its own benefits, specifically for members in that region. These include:

  • MAA Connect: MAA Connect is your platform to share ideas, ask questions, look up other members, network, and collaborate with your peers. MAA Connect is integrated with our member database, you only have to remember one login and password.
  • Sections: Your regional section connects you to mathematical peers, professional development opportunities, and in-person meetups near you. Become an active member of your section to create connections in your community.
  • Special Interest Groups of the MAA (SIGMAAs): The SIGMAA program establishes and supports communities of colleagues who share a common interest that advances the MAA mission.
