The name ‘M Automotiv’ was chosen for its strong symbolism: the ‘M’ not only represents the brand’s commitment to innovative mobility but also its dedication to a Morocco in motion. In this endeavor, our values of simplicity, durability, and innovation were the guiding principles. They are reflected in every aspect of the brand, from the choice of colors to the customer experience. Masterful execution with a solid insight, I would have loved to be present for that Aha! moment. Love that they've acknowledged the fact that their identity is difficult to read for non practitioners, so they made this logo's biggest weakness a literal asset. The asterisk being used as the icon for the brand is such a bold move. Not only does it serve to showcase connections but it also has a functional purpose, to redirect the attention towards the company's name in case readability is difficult. When our brand strategist thinks Saturday is the best day for branding, but he's clearly a marketing rebel! 😂 #HichamVsWeekend
Don't know if it's interesting to post on a Saturday, but this rebrand has been waiting for a while and I had to cover it. It's the first time I'm in contact with work from Ragged Edge, and let me tell you I love the way they've thought the First Choice rebrand. There's an interesting feeling this identity brings and it makes me feel like I'm in a Wes Anderson movie, striking the perfect balance between whimsical and serious, it feels like you're on a never ending journey. The use of icons in the logo allows to segue into the brand's visual elements with a rich icon universe while making sure the brand is recognizable in an already very crowded space. The font is incredible, I'm a fan of the kind of grotesque shapes of the letters paired with a certain stature and boldness. To sum it up, this is how you make First Choice the First choice.
