India posted 234/2 in 20 overs on the back of a fantastic 100 by Abhishek Sharma. He was ably supported by Ruturaj Gaikwad, who scored an unbeaten 77. Rinku Singh provided the finishing touches with a brisk 48 not out.
India skipper Shubman Gill won the toss and elected to bat first against Zimbabwe in the second T20I of the five-match series at the Harare Sports Club on Sunday.
Left-hand batter Sai Sudarshan is set to make his T20I debut. The debutant replaces left-arm seamer Khaleel Ahmed in the line-up.

Team India registered a dominating 100-run win the second T20I to level the series 1-1. Batting first, India posted a mammoth total of 234/2 in 20 overs. Abhishek Sharma registered his first century in international cricket of just 46 balls. Ruturaj Gaikwad played a steady knock of 77 not out. Rinku Singh provided the finishing touch with an unbeaten 22-ball 48. Zimbabwe bowlers had no answers to India's onslaught. Blessing Muzarabani was the best bowler with figures of 4-1-30-1. India kept chipping away with wickets as Zimbabwe failed to build partnerships. Pacers Avesh Khan and Mukesh Kumar got three wickets each. Bishnoi followed up his four wickets in the previous match with figures of 4-0-11-2. Sundar chipped in with a wicket too. Zimbabwe was eventually bowled out for 134 in 18.4 overs. Madhaevere struggled but top scored with 43 runs off 39 balls. Jongwe hit some late boundaries to finish on 33 runs,
Very happy, great to be back on the winning note back again. With the way Abhishek and Rutu batted, it was not easy especially in the powerplay, with the ball moving around. Yesrerday, it was more about not able to handle the pressure, it's a young side and it was theiir first international exposure. We have got three matches to go. It's always good to have more options rather than not having options.

I think it was pretty much good performance by me, the defeat we had yesterday we didn't have it easy for us. I felt today it was my day and I made it count. I feel T20 is about momentum and I took it to the end. Special mention to the coach and team management, I always feel that as a youngster if it's your day, if you have to express yourself. We were talking after every ball and he said to me that you should take it on. I always believe in my ability, if there's in my arc and even if it's the first ball, I will go after it.

The world champions will eventually play like world champions. Dropping catches today certainly hurt us today. I expected 200 on this wicket today but they got 30 runs more. Coming into this game, I thought it would be a close game but it wasn't to be, the top-order didn't play well. He has grown by leaps and bounds, he is very hungry and his graph will keep going up.
