Stringent Measures Against Unfair Practices

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced a strict policy against the use of mobile phones and other electronic devices inside examination centers. During the May 2024 examinations, several candidates were found with mobile phones that contained telegram groups, WhatsApp groups, and other communication channels. All confiscated devices were reported to the Examination Centre and other functionaries.

The ICAI's Examination Committee has taken serious action against these candidates. Those found with mobile phones inside the examination hall will be barred from appearing in the Chartered Accountants Examinations for the next five years.
