About the editor

Todd K. Shackelford is Distinguished Professor and Chair of the Department of Psychology at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, where he led the founding of new Ph.D. and M.S programs.  He has published over 350 peer-reviewed articles and chapters, and edited many volumes, accruing 27,000 citations.  Dr. Shackelford has edited three Springer encyclopedias on evolutionary psychological science, personality and individual differences and animal cognition and behavior.
