Abstract
Success as a faculty member involves recognizing and embracing the essential importance of continuous professional development and growth throughout one’s career. As faculty members we strive to instill in our students the importance of professional development while engaged not only in their current academic pursuits, but likewise throughout their subsequent careers. It is important that faculty members heed their own advice to their students and pursue appropriate opportunities for professional development and growth throughout their faculty careers.
