Abstract

In light of the ever-increasing male patients seeking aesthetic enhancement, plastic surgeons must become cognizant of the unique characteristics of this demographic to avoid medico-legal entanglements. It is imperative for the plastic surgeon to clearly communicate and document the precise nature of the procedure for which the patient is seeking consultation. Even more important is for the plastic surgeon to fully comprehend the patient’s expectations.
