Abstract

During examination of the wrist and hand, the examiner sits opposite the patient. The hand is placed in a neutral position on a flat surface. It may be extended and flexed for dynamic examination of the joints and tendons. The examination of the wrist starts with a longitudinal scan of the dorsal midline area of the wrist.
