Queer & Trans People in Emergent Space (QTPIES) is a peer support and network building space for queer and trans folks working in philanthropy, as well as a place to have emergent conversations on sector-wide news. The space is open to philanthropic professionals at both Funders for LGBTQ Issues member and nonmember institutions.

Funders for LGBTQ Issues is excited to host the first virtual network meeting of Funders United for Democracy and Trans Justice (DTJ). DTJ launched this summer to provide a cross-sector space for LGBTQ and democracy-focused funders to respond to the persistent wave of politically fueled anti-trans attacks. The August 14th network meeting, co-hosted by initiative co-chair Funders Committee for Civic Participation (FCCP) will orient this network— lifting up shared knowledge while building and facilitating connections between participants as they strategize around the threat anti-trans attacks pose to all progressive causes.
