$1,000,000 recovery – resort guest slipped on wet walkway

Leighton Panoff Law’s John Leighton and Max Panoff recovered $1,000,000 for a man who slipped and fell on a wet walkway at a Key West resort.  The man walked out of the building after it had been raining and slipped on the ceramic tile.  He suffered a knee injury and neck, head and shoulder injuries.  The knee injury healed, but the neck injury continued to worsen and he required a surgery for a herniated disc.  He also had a post-concussion syndrome.  The case was settled after a mistrial and prior to beginning a new trial.
