Nothing To See Here: Intel-Hacktivist Media Stymied By Republican Govs Sending Illegal Aliens to ‘Sanctuary’ Cities and States

Nothing To See Here: Intel-Hacktivist Media Stymied By Republican Govs Sending Illegal Aliens to ‘Sanctuary’ Cities and States

And other things the media under-reported last week.

The Democrat hacktivist media doesn’t really know what to say about illegal aliens and open borders now that Republican governors from Texas and Florida are sending illegals to blue cities and states, so it seems they’ve settled on not really dealing with it beyond, of course, attacking the governors as “kidnappers.”

This is a rather interesting development given how intertwined American intel is with the “mainstream media,” no?

We have bizarre claims about how awful the influx of illegals is (and it’s nothing compared to what border cities and towns have dealt with for decades) . . . without any acknowledgment of why there’s a problem or who’s to blame.

A whole year? And only 100k? Please.

But note that this problem just manifested out of thin air (or is the fault of Republicans); it can’t possibly be Biden’s and the Democrats’ open borders policy.

Nor can it possibly be the fault of these cities and states that thought they were far enough away from the border never to be bothered by the millions of illegal aliens flooding across our Southern border, so they happily crowed about how compassionate and ‘progressive’ and fabulous they are. These “sanctuary” cities and states thousands of miles from the border swore to welcome any and all illegal comers. Until they actually came.

He’s not wrong:

Nothing To See Here

.
And of course, they are eating their own. And of course, it’s hilarious.

This DeSantis ad is indeed straight fire.

Any presidential candidate who promises to ‘abolish the Department of Education on Day One’ is either a liar or completely ignorant of how things work in government. Neither is a good choice. And, heck, it might be that they are both a liar and ignorant. Definitely not a good choice.

This, however, is how it’s done:

Speaking of Vivek (and you knew I was).

Hot Air: “Today’s deep question: Should we care about Ramaswamy’s ‘Soros scholarship’?”

Weird question, but the answer is yes. Check out Ed’s post to find out why.

Cancel culture is alive and . . . perhaps not so well. Attempts to “cancel” legendary musicians Carlos Santana and Alice Cooper for speaking the truth about biological reality didn’t quite turn out as planned.

Oddly, Santana posted—and then deleted—a self-flagellating, post-struggle session apology.

Breitbart: “Nolte: Carlos Santana Deletes Apology for Accurate Gender Comments”

They also came for Alice Cooper.

Hot Air: “Alice Cooper dropped by cosmetics brand after speaking out about transgenderism”

Cancellations just aren’t what they used to be.

Hollywood In Toto: “‘Canceled’ Scott Adams Crushes Amazon Book Sales”

Meanwhile, the long march to Year Zero continues.

The National Pulse: “Biden’s Pentagon Intent on Removing Confederate Memorial from Arlington, Despite Opposition.”

GLAAD is going all-in on making DeSantis look good, not that this was their intent.

Definitely Nothing To See Here

.
Biden all but admitted to the blatant and corrupt persecution of Donald Trump for political gain. His non-POTUS account actually tweeted (X’d?) on the day of Trump’s Georgia indictment:

DISGUSTING. Unacceptable.

But how hard did the Democrats get bit by their own “get Trump” crazy?

PJMedia: “The Great Backfire: Did Big Left Set the Conditions for Trump Persecution to Flip Their Captive Constituencies?”

(Language warning)

The Biden crime family was further exposed by a member of a (not so) different kind of crime family.

Powerline: “Former Mob Boss Sheds Light on Biden Family Corruption”

Again Jesse [Watters], I’m not saying he’s innocent or he’s guilty. What I’m saying is, from my experience, and it’s vast, this is a slam dunk indictment. No doubt. There’s a pattern of racketeering here. This was done over a period of time. You could say that – there’s an argument can be made that the Biden [family] is a criminal organization if this money is coming in illegally, um, but it certainly looks that way to me. I mean and again, uh you know, not only did I defend my own but I’ve seen many of my former associates that had RICO indictments and the pattern is always the same and this looks exactly like that.

We want mug shots.

Oh, and did you know that you are criminal?

David Strom over at Hot Air has more: “We are all criminals? I don’t think so…”

Meanwhile, the debanking of wrongthinkers has already hit our shores.

Fox News: “Christian nonprofit claims it was ‘debanked’ by Bank of America over its religious views”

This appears to have first occurred in 2019.

Apropos of nothing, John Rich has started a bank for right thinkers, one that will not bow to debanking demands of the federal government. Until it must, anyway.

When good guys with guns thwart a potential violent crime, you won’t hear a peep from the state media.

Bearing Arms: “Dallas home invaders posed as maintenance workers before armed citizen took action”

Yes, they really want to destroy not just your quality of life but civilization itself.

But we know how it will really work:

The fabulous Beege at Hot Air had this to add: “Now POTATUS wants your ceiling fan and beer.”

(As an aside, she is hilarious and thoughtful and always a good read, so check out her posts over there.)

And finally, this Tom MacDonald video has rocked my world. Honestly, I’m still processing it, but this is one intense video and message. I’d be really interested in hearing (well, reading) your thoughts.

I believe a large number of the people we commonly associate as ‘political talking heads’ would be shocked to discover just how much traffic on new media is going to discussion and reactions/reviews of what the legacy media would call ‘right wing’ content. Go look at YouTube and see the plethora of reaction videos to Oliver Anthony. Take a look at Cartier Family (group of black athletes at LA Tech) reacting to Prager U content or Thomas Sowell.

There’s a serious undercurrent out in the real world cutting against the grain of the establishment’s narratives. Folks are searching for things that can help make sense of the world where they are inundated with lefty propaganda. Many of them are finding it online and reevaluating their political stance.

“John Rich has started a bank for right thinkers”
Of the three founders, he’s the one I’d never heard of. The other two are Ben Carson and Larry Elder — the two names that made me sign up for a token account immediately. (Current promo material has also sneaked in a “Governor Fallin,” whom I also never heard of, as a “founder,” which I’m pretty sure is revisionism, I have the receipts somewhere.)

Old Glory is a real basic cyber-bank, with not much in the way of services except online access, an app, and a debit card. No merchant services, no credit cards, no OFX connectivity, no Zelle/Venmo. They’re just now announcing “business accounts” (though not actually opening them yet).
But I’m a patient bastard.

Oh yeah, as for Tom MacDonald… I may be blackpilled on certain subjects, like TINVOWOOT, but this dude is blackpilled on life. Nihilism doesn’t float my boat.

Well, Katty-boo, you are the one who wanted a “sanctuary state” and “sanctuary cities” therein. You got what you wanted.

GET IN LINE. The Feds owe Texas billions, if not trillions, for all of the strain on OUR state’s public resources due to the Fed’s malicious unwillingness to do their job enforcing existing US immigration law. Your Blue Hell is way behind other border states in being owed compensation. Gerald R. Ford had the right idea when he told New York City to go pound sand—now it needs to be the entire State of New York. You asked for this Sweetie, you deal with it.

Of course, the Biden Administration will give Hochul everything she wants, while continuing to stiff Texas, Florida, and Arizona.

Dimsdale in reply to drsamherman. | August 28, 2023 at 7:53 pm

A perfect case of “be careful what you pretend to wish for….”

Their refusal to link the illegal alien crisis to Biden is telling and hilarious. The election commercials write themselves.

Subotai Bahadur in reply to Dimsdale. | August 28, 2023 at 8:53 pm

That would be assuming that the Institutional Republicans actually want to defeat Democrats. Especially if Trump is the candidate.

      Subotai Bahadur

Not just unwillingness to do their job. They sue Texas when Texas attempts to do the job of the Federal Government.

Any presidential candidate who promises to ‘abolish the Department of Education on Day One’ is either a liar or completely ignorant of how things work in government. Neither is a good choice. And, heck, it might be that they are both a liar and ignorant. Definitely not a good choice.

Right….

Yet, the Black community is rocking with our President Trump

Rock on!!!!!

“Dems tried to set a March 4th date for Trump’s GA trial, but Brian Kemp
shut that down

So now they’re setting a March 4th date for Trump’s **DC** case

Blatantly obvious they want Trump in court the day before Super
Tuesday”

V.R. doesn’t care if oldsters at HotAir or LI approve of him. He’s after the 20-40yo crowd. When will such a simple concept sink in? It’s about the reactor generation, not you.

First it was he doesn’t vote or he lied about voting or he registered as ‘unaligned.’ There was a collective sign of don’t give a damn. Then, despite failed effort for traction on that issue, they doxxed his wife, and found that she is registered independent or whatev’s. And when no on cared, the very same defenders of democracy doxxed his parents. Stay classy, defenders of democracy.

And now the patty panic brigade have decided a Soros-Yale grant is teh evil incarnate. Tainted forever! No redemption!

BE AFRAID, PEASANT!

You’re angry that VR is doing what you want him to do.

Remember when Trump signed the Omnibus Budget deal and later expressed regret at signing the Omnibus Budget deal?

That was a real world flip-flop with very negative consequences.

        herm2416 in reply to Tiki. | August 29, 2023 at 9:05 am

It very much was. There is a lot I like about Trump, but this one STILL sets my teeth on edge.

Milhouse in reply to gonzotx. | August 30, 2023 at 5:49 am

The headline on that article is outright dishonest. The article cites no evidence whatsoever of any “reversal”. Ramaswamy originally said that he expects that by the end of his first term Israel would no longer need US aid. Now he says that he wouldn’t cut the aid until Israel confirms that it indeed no longer needs it. How is that a reversal? At most it’s a small adjustment.

The policy remains the same — and it’s a correct policy that should have been adopted decades ago. Israel should be the USA’s friend, not a client state. When it needs aid, we should give it, just as we did to the UK when it needed it. But the goal should be to get it to a point where the aid is unnecessary.

In my opinion US aid has done Israel far more harm than good, because with the money comes opinions, and the need to kowtow to the USA has significantly harmed Israel. In fact one of the major reasons it needs all that aid is precisely because it has done things contrary to its vital interests, at USA insistence.

I should also note that Netanyahu, when he was first PM, expressed pretty much the same view, that he wanted to get Israel to the point where it didn’t need the money.

Milhouse in reply to Tiki. | August 29, 2023 at 9:23 am

Did you read the article? It says explicitly that the scholarship shouldn’t be an issue. What is an issue is the multiple lies he told to cover it up, as well as other things he’s tried to cover up rather than owning them. That speaks to what sort of person he is.

Let’s make deportation great again.

Send them back to their home countries. No more moving them around within our borders.

Sidebar at ace:

“Ramaswamy is NOT a George Soros Stooge: Per commenter MTF: “He was a “PAUL” Soros fellow. Different Soros. The brother, Paul, perhaps made money investing with his brother (I don’t know), but he did very well on his own as a quiet engineer making things. Actual manufacturing entrepreneur. His own webpage highlights his love for the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The program gives tuition support to immigrants seeking advanced degrees, usually in science-related topics (just from a quick review of the winners bios). There doesn’t appear to be a political aspect at all to the grants.

This urge to besmirch people is sophomoric but there are lots of commenters easily riled up.”

    JohnSmith100 in reply to Tiki. | August 29, 2023 at 1:19 am

So what turned Soros into a psycho? Association with Nazis?

The point being is Fuzzy’s whole premise is shot to heck. Either way, I just don’t care.

And why are you asking me why George Soros is a psycho nazi?

      Milhouse in reply to JohnSmith100. | August 29, 2023 at 9:27 am

George Soros never associated with nazis, and is not a psycho. He’s a serious person who is very wrong about some important issues, and is spending a lot of money to make the world a worse place. Not out of malice; he thinks he’s making the world a better place, but he isn’t. Being wrong doesn’t make him a psycho, just an enemy.

And Tiki, you should read the linked article before commenting on it. The premise is not “shot to heck”, or even shot at all.

MarkS in reply to Milhouse. | August 29, 2023 at 11:38 am

In his 60 Minutes interview with Steve Croft, Soros stated that he is an unremorseful, unrepentant Nazi collaborator who help the Nazis round up and confiscate property from his fellow Jews

Milhouse in reply to MarkS. | August 30, 2023 at 5:18 am

No, he did not say that at all. Not in that interview and not at any other time. Nor did he ever do those things. You are repeating a vicious nasty libel, and the fact that he is an enemy doesn’t justify it.

You should be reading comments across the web and how those comments purposefully misrepresent the Soros-Yale grant. The argument centers on that issue alone, not his prevarications regarding the grant. So, yes shot to heck.

And you are right about one thing – I refuse to traffic HotAir. Mainly due to the jerk known as Allahpundit. Sorry, I’ve standards to maintain.

If Fuzzy wants to make an argument for or against VR, then do it here, and own it. Sloughing the work off on HotAir just doesn’t cut it.

Tiki in reply to Tiki. | August 29, 2023 at 2:15 pm

One of many examples of the Soros panic mongering:

Vetting Vivek: Jordan Schaechtel’s investigation into the Gameshow Grifter Flake, who was named “Global Leader of 2021” by Klaus Schwab’s WEF and who has ties to George Soros — he was a “Soros Fellow,” in fact…

Milhouse in reply to Tiki. | August 30, 2023 at 5:23 am

Tiki, if you refuse to read the article then you forfeit the right to comment on it. Fuzzy wrote:

Hot Air: “Today’s deep question: Should we care about Ramaswamy’s ‘Soros scholarship’?”

Weird question, but the answer is yes. Check out Ed’s post to find out why.

With a teaser like that, you should already have picked up that the reason we should care isn’t Soros Soros Soros, which is as stupid as Trump Trump Trump.

And no, Fuzzy isn’t “sloughing off work” to HotAir. She isn’t making an argument, she’s pointing us to the argument there. If you won’t read it then ignore it. You have no moral right to claim that its premise is “shot to heck” when you have not the faintest idea what its premise is.

    herm2416 in reply to Tiki. | August 29, 2023 at 9:07 am

Wait…I thought they were migrants, not immigrants.

Interesting about Paul Soros. I didn’t know he is an engineer.

      Milhouse in reply to herm2416. | August 29, 2023 at 9:32 am

Migrant is the generic term that excludes direction. An immigrant is an incoming migrant; an emigrant is an outgoing one. Both terms are subjective, because they depend on which country you’re talking about; every immigrant here is an emigrant somewhere else, and vice versa. MIgrant is objective; no matter where people are migrating from or to, they’re still migrants.

      JohnSmith100 in reply to herm2416. | August 29, 2023 at 1:32 pm

I was surprised and did not know about Paul Soros. One apparently became a useful productive citizen. George Soros is not, fundamentally unethical in my view, a parasite with a warped view.

        Milhouse in reply to JohnSmith100. | August 30, 2023 at 5:26 am

George was extremely productive, as evidenced by the fact that he made a fortune in a capitalist economy that rewards only productive activity. He is certainly no parasite. The fact that his political views are dangerously wrong, leading him to use his fortune for evil, doesn’t change that.

Marx was a parasite. Engels was not, notwithstanding his holding the same evil views.

How about announcing that all illegals are available for organ donations?

Or offer a bounty for their capture, dead or alive? I bet that running down illegals would be more popular that dear season.

What we need is something that makes them want to hightail it out of America, any other suggestions?

“Any presidential candidate who promises to ‘abolish the Department of Education on Day One’ is either a liar or completely ignorant of how things work in government. Neither is a good choice. ”

Why? Vivek has said that the DOEd was formed by Executive Order and he will issue one to abolish it just like Brandon is doing with Trumps Order’s right now. Why is that not a good idea? Besides the DOEd not doing anything usefull it might make the left so crazy that we can finally start talking about reigning in the Exec Orders which have gotten way out of hand.

    Milhouse in reply to diver64. | August 29, 2023 at 9:41 am

Vivek saying it doesn’t make it true. It just makes him ignorant on this subject. Two minutes on Wikipedia would have set him straight.

MarkS in reply to Milhouse. | August 29, 2023 at 11:39 am

      wiki is not reliable

Milhouse in reply to MarkS. | August 30, 2023 at 5:31 am

Yes, it is. On any matter of objective and easily verifiable fact, that is not political, WP is more reliable than any other encyclopaedia. And since it requires sources, which are usually easily accessible, you can easily check its claims. Plus, if you see something weird you can check the editing history to see how recently it was put there, and what other edits that person has made, and if you’re sure it’s wrong you can fix it.

That Vivek’s claim is 100% wrong is trivially verifiable. If you can’t figure that out then you’re an AOC-level moron.

CommoChief in reply to Milhouse. | August 30, 2023 at 9:21 am

Agreed. Wiki isn’t the final word of scholarship but it is more than reliable enough to get a grasp of the topic and point you to original source material/authors or other sources for more in-depth research.

Just to clarify, the Department of Education was created by law, so it cannot be abolished except through a new law such as the one Massie proposes.

If they’re all asylum seekers now, let’s lock them all in the asylum.

    JohnSmith100 in reply to E Howard Hunt. | August 29, 2023 at 1:42 pm

I don’t want to pay for incarceration. They need to leave, open season would make getting rid of them at a low cost. They are a major factor driving increasing national debt.

1. The “lock her up” ad is indeed great. When Trump repeatedly made that promise I knew he didn’t mean it, and it was one of the many reasons I didn’t vote for him. He turned out to be a much better president than I had expected, and so I did vote for him in 2020, but I was right about his dishonesty on this matter. He never for one minute intended to lock her up, and he played for fools all those who took him at his word and looked forward to seeing it.

2. Steans County is correct, we are all criminals.

3. Old Glory Bank sounds like a good idea. I’ll have to look into it. I’m not with Chase or any of the major ones now, and have no information on whether my current bank is woke, but an effort like this deserves some support.

4. The “two drinks a week” article is stupid — and the comments on it are stupider. The story is about a proposed change in the government’s recommendation on alcohol consumption. No restrictions are being suggested, so there’s no potential constitutional issue at all. The government is perfectly entitled to recommend whatever nonsense it likes; everyone is free to ignore those recommendations. Pelosi certainly will, and so will I.

You would do well to listen to Milhouse, he’s not only (many more than) ten times smarter than you, but he’s ten times smarter than the golden godlet you hold up as a false idol and worship as a false god.

Stop with the snide side-swiping at our commenters, gonzo. I am reaching the end of my patience with you. I really am.

When “The Man”, a white old guy from a “slave state” gets his son off on felony charges that anybody in the Black community would do time for, it isn’t really hard to become a “disenchanted Black” Democrat.

A declaration should be made that no one entering the country illegally will ever be granted citizenship, and that no benefits of ANY kind (including food stamps, housing, medical care, voting, driver’s licenses, etc.) will be provided to ANY non-citizen.

We need to put an end to the Welfare State, thus removing one of the major incentives for the illegals to come to the United States.

So called “sanctuary cities” have been hosting illegals for a long time. Built up quite a bungee effect, pulling more and more in over the years.
Anyone know why they went from simply not reporting minor criminals to ICE all the way to round-the-clock care for this population? Especially at a time when economy was already rocky from the ‘vid?
