After two impactful years, we proudly wrap up the SALAM project, which has significantly contributed to reducing inequalities in Lebanon. We achieved social and economic inclusion, raised awareness on plastic pollution and climate change, empowered 125 women and youth, 150 vulnerable households received in-kind food assistance over 15 months, and equipped 40 unemployed youth with agricultural skills and tools. As we close this chapter, with the presence of Mrs Alessandra Piermattei ,we’re excited to announce the launch of the Bridge Project! This new project will focus on providing basic health services, vocational training, socio-economic inclusion, and interreligious dialogue to integrate Syriac and Chaldean minorities. ‎بعد عامين تكلّلا بالنجاح، نختتم مشروع سلام الذي ساهم بشكل كبير في الحد من عدم المساواة في لبنان. لقد حققنا الإدماج الاجتماعي والاقتصادي، ورفعنا مستوى الوعي بشأن التلوث البلاستيكي وتغير المناخ، وقمنا بتمكين النساء والشباب، وقمنا بتزويد الشباب العاطلين عن العمل بالمهارات والأدوات الزراعية. ‎بينما نختتم هذا الفصل، يسعدنا أن نعلن عن إطلاق مشروع BRIDGE! وسيركز هذا المشروع الجديد على توفير الخدمات الصحية الأساسية، والتدريب المهني، والإدماج الاجتماعي والاقتصادي، والحوار بين الأديان لدمج الأقليات السريانية والكلدانية. Empowering the next generation! 🌟 We at Farah Social Foundation are dedicated to nurturing young talent through entrepreneurial programs like Idealab, vocational training initiatives like the YEP project, and a range of other dynamic projects and capacity-building workshops. Be inspired by the experiences of our young nature guardians! 🌿✨ We have just concluded our second summer camp in AFDC! Over four unforgettable days, 30 young explorers immersed themselves in nature, putting into practice the lessons learned during the school year. The children from Beirut & Chouf schools experienced an extraordinary adventure with NRDC and FSF social workers and Oikos operators, engaging in practical activities, games, and workshops to discover that protecting nature is a challenge we can only overcome together! اختتمت مؤسسة الفرح الاجتماعية المخيم الثاني ضمن مشروع سلام الذي استمر لمدة اربعة ايام في جمعية الثروة الحرجية والتنمية حيث شارك 30 طفل وطفلة في نشاطات مختلفة لتطبيق ما تعلموه خلال السنة الدراسية من خلال هذه المشروع . تميز هذا المخيم بمشاركة الاطفال من عدة مدارس في بيروت والشوف حيث استمتعوا بالعديد من النشاطات التوعوية البيئية والترفيهية والتثقيفية. Closing ceremony for the #Hadkoun project 🌟 Throughout the past year, “Hadkoun” has distributed 1,500 food parcels, served 48,000 hot meals, and created job opportunities for 10 rural women. We are excited to announce the launch of our new project, “Success Forward,” through an event attended by MoSA, the Head of Municipalities, stakeholders, SMEs, and partners. Under the Women Economic Empowerment Project (WEE), the training was in Aley district. 22 women from Aley area attended a 11-day Capacity building program on Upcylcing, Entrepreneurship, Circular economy and Gender. at the end of the capacity building program, the women pitched their ideas to a jury and 10 ideas will be selected to receive in-kind support. The program is implemented by FSF and funded by L’oreal Fund for Women. ‎في اطار مشروع “تمكين المرأة اقتصاديا” الذي تنفذه مؤسسة الفرح الاجتماعية وتموله “L’Oréal Fund” ‎خضعت 32 سيدة في منطقة عاليه لدورة تدريبية لمدة 11 يوما حول اعادة التدوير وريادة الاعمال. ‎وفي نهاية التدريبات قدمت السيدات في مشاريعن الخاصة امام لجنة تحكيم حيث سيصار الى اختيار 10 مشاريع لتمويلهن. ‎يأتي هذا المشروع في اطار سعي المؤسسة الى تمكين السيدات اقتصاديا وايجاد فرص عمل لهن وتحسين حياتهن. @loreallebanon #lorealfundforwomen #lorealforthefuture #womenempowerment
