L'Art de Créer et Réinventer le Monde entre Héritage et Modernité Dans cet épisode inspirant, je vous emmène à la rencontre d'Aline Asmar d'Amman, une architecte au parcours exceptionnel qui a su allier passion, créativité et audace pour redéfinir les codes de l'architecture et du design dans sa pratique. D'origine libanaise, Aline s'est épanouie à Paris, où elle a fondé son agence, Culture in Architecture, établissant des connexions interculturelles. Elle a travaillé sur des projets emblématiques tels que l'Hôtel de Crillon ou encore le restaurant Le Jules Verne du chef Frédéric Anton, adresse gastronomique de la Tour Eiffel. Elle s’attaque à des chantiers d’envergure, à Venise, sur le lac de Côme, à Dubaï, dans le désert arabique, à Genève… tout en dessinant du mobilier qui allie les paradoxes entre brut et précieux dans une recherche de matière poétique. De son enfance à Beyrouth, marquée par la guerre, à sa rencontre décisive avec Karl Lagerfeld en 2013, leur collaboration fructueuse sur l'Hôtel de Crillon et sur une collection de mobilier d’exception pour Carpenters Workshop Gallery, Aline nous partage sa vision de l'architecture comme un véritable art vivant, où chaque création doit être porteuse de sens et d'émotion. Son travail d’architecte et d’architecte d’intérieur illustre sa capacité à transformer un espace tout en respectant son histoire et son identité. 'Aspiration' A poetic calling for elevation, Aspiration is inspired by the Lady of Lebanon, Harissa. The translucent pink wax finely sculpted and striated evokes the shade of a softly burning sky. Capturing the flesh tint of the blushing Madonna in her stone undulating robe, the sculptural candle is a labor of love made by the skilled artisans of Beit Chabeb local workshops for #Houseoftoday 'The Candle Project' At the intersection of Lebanese craftsmanship, design and philanthropy, the candle project is a flicker of hope and a symbol of collaborative artistry from Beirut to the world. My first wax project is dedicated to Notre-Dame du Liban, reigning with affection and allure over the lands and shores of my home country, constantly inspiring aspiration and elevation.
