Senior Business Attorney

A 100% remote boutique law firm seeking a seasoned business attorney to support a growing base of major corporate and financial-sector clients.  Accepting applications for both full-time and part-time.

This women-owned firm is made up of former law firm and in-house attorneys and has been fully remote since its founding in 2015.


Responsibilities:

  • Structure, review, draft and negotiate a wide range of vendor commercial agreements including technology license agreements, SaaS agreements, operations agreements, professional services agreements, as well as outsourcing and consulting agreements.

  • Advise on liabilities, legal rights and remedies available to clients.

  • Work closely with clients’ in-house counsel and client business teams.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with cloud services, cybersecurity, information security, data privacy and protection, and data management agreements and commercial terms.

  • Experience working in a regulated financial services company is preferred, but not required.

  • Communicate complex concepts clearly and simply, both orally and in writing, and present pragmatic and strategic choices. Excellent verbal, written, negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Excellent project management and time management skills, ability to handle multiple clients and projects. Highly motivated and independent self-starter.

  • Significant law firm and/or corporate in-house attorney experience required. Ideal candidates will have about 10 years of experience, but the firm is open to considering more senior or junior candidates depending on prior work experience and skill set.

  • Candidates must have a JD from an accredited law school and be active in good standing in their jurisdiction.
