Homicide Bureau Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in obtaining additional information to identify and locate the suspect (s) responsible for the murder of victim Peter Chounthala.
The murder happened in the city of Bellflower near the intersection of Virginia Avenue and Artesia Boulevard. The victim was assaulted left lying in the road and subsequently struck by a passing vehicle.
A reward of $20,000 has been authorized by the Board of Supervisors, leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.
