US athlete Kate Douglass, a 22-year-old swimmer, has already made a significant impact in her career. Born on November 17, 2001, in Pelham, New York, Douglass started swimming competitively at the age of seven. She attended the University of Virginia, where she won 15 NCAA titles and is currently pursuing a master's degree in statistics. Douglass has also published an article on using statistics to improve swimming form.

Douglass made her Olympic debut in Tokyo at the age of 19, where she won a bronze medal. She has also won 14 world championship medals. Now, she is preparing for a potential breakout performance at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

In addition to her academic and athletic achievements, Douglass is known for her versatility in the pool. She has set records in multiple events and continues to train at the University of Virginia under coach Todd Desorbo. Her parents, William and Allison Douglass, have been instrumental in her career, providing unwavering support since she first started swimming.
