We are proud to announce that LOTTE BIOLOGICS held the Ground Breaking Ceremony for Plant 1 of our Incheon Songdo Bio Campus on July 3rd. Hosted by LOTTE Group Chairman Dong-Bin Shin and LOTTE BIOLOGICS CEO Richard Lee, we are grateful to all who attended this landmark occasion for our company. LOTTE BIOLOGICS plans to build three Bio Plants in the Songdo IFEZ bio cluster by 2030, with a total antibody pharmaceutical production capacity of 360kL. Through our new Songdo Bio Plant and our Syracuse Bio Plant in New York, LOTTE BIOLOGICS is committed to delivering excellence and is dedicated to improving the lives of patients worldwide as a leading global CDMO.

LOTTE BIOLOGICS has signed an LOI (Letter of Intent) with Merck Process Solutions to enhance their manufacturing and process development of biopharmaceuticals. Through this agreement, LOTTE BIOLOGICS will receive essential raw materials and solutions from Merck for pharmaceutical development and manufacturing within the Songdo Bio Campus. This collaboration will provide sophisticated manufacturing processes and will significantly boost our technological competitiveness. On April 21st, the LOTTE BIOLOGICS employees, along with their families, took to the skies in the exhilarating 'LOTTE Family Sky Run.' This event, known as Korea's most formidable vertical marathon, challenged participants to conquer a breathtaking 2,917 steps up to the 123rd floor of the iconic LOTTE World Tower. Out of over 6,000 applicants from various LOTTE Group affiliates, around 2,200 were selected to tackle this sky-high challenge. Demonstrating our commitment to community support, LOTTE Group pledged 10,000 KRW to the Bobath Children's Hospital for every participant. Our team at LOTTE BIOLOGICS, featuring a diverse range of participants, participated with unmatched enthusiasm and achieved a stellar 100% completion rate. This event was more than a test of physical stamina-it was a reflection of the drive and excellence that define our role in the CDMO market.
