A hearty applause for the debate club at Bridge Watamu for their incredible performance at Juwaba Social Hall in Kilifi, courtesy of our collaboration with SHOFCO! 15 of their debaters took on schools like High Vision Academy, Mtondia Trinity Academy, and others in a thrilling debate on "Technological advancement has more positive impact than negative." Our team shone bright, and some pupils like Juliana Mashirima, David Omondi, Abigael Rama, Hassan Hamisi, and Emmanuel Baya were recognized for their outstanding performances! One way our learners quickly grasp new concepts and revise is through the use of flash cards. These flash cards have words on one side and explanations on the other, making learning both fun and effective in class. Incorporating these engaging methods aligns perfectly with the Everyone Behind the Flag Campaign to support the United Nations SDG 4 mission—a global initiative focused on transforming education systems for children aged 3 to 18. The Everyone Behind the Flag Campaign celebrates NGOs with a strong record of developing educational programs that positively impact children's lives. We believe it’s important for children to have a holistic education and that education is best when it combines the pursuit of academic excellence with the development of character. By participating in a wide range of co-curricular activities, our pupils have the opportunity to pursue their passions, and develop skills such as leadership and teamwork.
