NKBA Global Connect at the Trade Show Event

Apr 18, 2024

Bethlehem, PA – (April 18th, 2024) —The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), representing nearly 50,000 North American kitchen and bath industry professionals, and the owners of the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS), announces its newest NKBA Global Connect Strategic Alliance Partner, CEIR.

With the goal of establishing lines of collaboration to promote associated companies interested in establishing or growing their presence in the North American market, Strategic Alliance Partners support NKBA initiatives to educate and inform their members on insights and strategies for North American expansion.

CEIR – Taps and Valves Europe, was formed in 1959 as the European federation of national manufacturer associations comprising a network of European member associations (Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the UK) as well as individual European manufacturers (in markets where no associations are present) involved in the field of taps, valves and fittings. They support the principles of a free economy and private enterprise in Europe as well as on a global basis and represent the common economic, technical and scientific interests of the European valve industries.

CEIR President, Dr. Nurdan Yucel, says “This partnership is an important step to solidify CEIR-Taps and Valve Europe’s commitment to global collaboration through our strategic alliance with NKBA Global Connect. Together we embark on a journey to improve business relationships, strengthen knowledge sharing and foster sustainable growth in the industry.”

The Association aims to develop appropriate programs and tools to support the European taps and valves industry by understanding and maintaining knowledge of valves and taps technologies as well as to actively promote energy savings and environmental integrity and sees a vital role in the continued development of its international relationships.

“We are honored to welcome CEIR as a NKBA Global Connect Strategic Alliance Partner,” said Suzie Williford, Chief Global Relations Officer, NKBA|KBIS. “The work being done by CEIR and their constituents on the European stage are important to the North American kitchen and bath business. As the platform that connects the international kitchen and bath industry there is much we can do, share and learn together.”

About NKBA Global Connect:

The NKBA Global Connect goal is to expand the visibility of the NKBA and the Association’s premiere trade show event— the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) – internationally with design professionals, brands, influencers, and other industry constituents. The initiative offers resources and connections to help international brands enter the North American kitchen and bath marketplace. Access to industry experts, proprietary NKBA market data, North American design and construction insights, VIP events and networking programs gives NKBA Global Connect members a unique view into the market before they commit to launching. It is designed to facilitate discussion on conducting business and participating in trade development events in North America and, conversely, in Europe and beyond for North American brands looking to extend their global footprint.
