UD Trucks Thailand recently held a road safety initiative for children at Ban Huai Lung School in northeastern Thailand, with more than 100 students and families participating. Beyond the road safety training, various support activities took place such as helping paint the school and repairing bicycles. The UD Trucks Thailand IT department also donated ten used PCs and employees donated their own funds to support student scholarships. Finally, free ice cream was distributed and UD Trucks Thailand volunteers played games with the students. This initiative was made possible by UD Trucks Thailand employees from various departments. ＵＤトラックス・タイは、バン・フアイ・ルン学校（タイ東北部）で子どもたちを対象とした交通安全活動を実施し、100人以上の生徒とその家族が参加しました。 交通安全トレーニングだけでなく、学校のペンキ塗りや自転車の修理など、さまざまな支援活動が行われました。また子供たちにアイスクリームを渡したり、ゲームを楽しむなど、交流を図りました。 様々な部署からたくさんの従業員が参加し、地域社会への貢献が実現したことを嬉しく思います。 #udtruck #udトラックス #udtrucksthailand

The last delivered truck has been over 30 years old and well maintained. Although it is still shinning, the retirement time is coming. The new cab design helped reduce driver fatigue on long haul routes and improve overall drivability. Extra Mile Challenge 2024 heats up – who will be the Ultimate Driver? The Extra Mile Challenge is a global competition that tests drivers’ skills – from pre-drive inspection and maneuvering, to fuel efficiency and safety. This year it is being held for the seventh time since 2015, with a record number of participating drivers and markets. The qualifying rounds are currently underway in UD markets around the world, and the best drivers from each market will travel to Japan to compete in the global final at the UD Experience Center in Ageo from October 22nd to 25th. Here they will showcase their skills in the quest to become the Ultimate Driver. In the meantime, let’s celebrate and cheer on participating drivers in all markets. They are the ones that always go the extra mile to keep logistics, and the world, moving.
