#GentleTech: As we've seen in previous posts dedicated to the topic by Fabio Verdelli | Design Studio, several major brands have already embraced the Gentle Tech philosophy; some are still firmly entrenched in the Hi-Tech world, while others are taking a hybrid approach (like Apple), and most are adopting a language without clear characterizations (Samsung and Microsoft among them). Today, I want to venture into less known yet equally representative examples of Gentle Technology. I present four cases:   1. Mui board by Mui lab. This is a wall interface for a home automation system inspired by #CalmTechnology and #GentleTechnology. It's a true manifesto for a collective of Japanese designers and researchers working in various directions to create more human, reassuring, and enjoyable interactions within our homes. Intuitive, almost basic in design and interface simplicity, when not in use, it seamlessly blends into the environment like a wall decoration, then magically comes to life when needed. mui Lab, Inc.   2. Helsinki by Vifa. A true milestone in recent #GentleTech history, this Bluetooth speaker captivates us (as do all the products from Danish company Vifa) not only for its discreet and elegant design but also for its ability to blend into different worlds. It's halfway between a fashion accessory and a piece of furniture 3. Neo by NuAns. A bold venture by the Japanese company NuAns to stand against global giants with a highly original smartphone rich in details, featuring an impressive palette of colors, materials, and finishes. An exercise in visionary craftsmanship in the realm of the most radical #GentleTech   4. Alis by Fabio Verdelli | Design Studio. Shall we quote ourselves? Yes, indeed, we shall :) Confident in our understanding of the subject, we present one of our great classics: the Alis hairdryer.
