Responsibilities

Works collaboratively with supervisor as a resource to unit personnel. Coordinates staffing, timecards, hiring and training. Maintains an expert knowledge of the work area and optimizes use of available technology. Effectively communicates information to staff, and supervisor. Participates in the coaching and development of staff, optimization of area productivity and service problem resolution, and standard work development. May represent area on task forces/committees within the Supply Chain network. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills when resolving conflicts with staff and customers. Assists in supervising staff activity and oversees day-to-day functions of the work team. This position will make significant contributions to supply chain integration, which includes activities to establish and enhance financial performance and operational processes associated with Supply Chain Management (SCM). Understands high level analytical and technical information to plan and execute supply chain management best practices utilizing LEAN Six Sigma principles. Supports an efficient, cost-effective program within assigned work unit, including but not limited to inventory control, shipping, storage, receiving, distribution, transportation, warehousing, and data/information management. Supports standardization initiatives as identified by supply chain leadership to reduce costs, to achieve operational efficiency, and to ensure clinical availability of supplies. Helps manage the process of movement of supplies, equipment, services and inventory within their team while ensuring compliance with Mayo policies.

*This position is on-site in Eau Claire, however will include travel around the NWWI region as needed.

Qualifications

Two years of relevant leadership experiences e.g. lead role, project manager/leader;  High School diploma or GED; Demonstrated experience with a variety of computer systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Lawson/Infor, ParEx, SC Logic, Supply+, Service Now, etc.) is preferred.  For locations requiring driving a company or personal vehicle, must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
