Friday, June 28, 6-10 p.m.: Robbins hosts Moore County’s first fireworks show of the season at the town’s greenspace. There will be food trucks, a climbing wall, bounce houses and live music by ironically named variety band the Shugga Daddies. Party in the U.S.A.

Wednesday, July 3, 6 p.m.: Kick off festivities a day early with the Village of Pinehurst. Enjoy a free concert, kids activities and fireworks. Feel Yankee Doodle Dandy.

Wednesday, July 3, 5 p.m.: Pinehurst Resort’s Freedom Fest commences, where country music artist Jameson Rodgers will perform hits like “Cold Beer Calling My Name” (recorded with Luke Combs) and “Some Girls.” The night begins at 5 p.m. with kids activities; music begins at 7:30 p.m. and fireworks happen at dusk. Get regular tickets or pay extra for a meet-and-greet with Jameson. Food will be available for purchase, too. Get tickets.

Thursday, July 4, 9:45 a.m.: Relish the opportunity to secure your hot dog’s moment in the spotlight during the Village of Pinehurst’s annual Pet Parade. Everything from poodles to parakeets can join in at 9:45 a.m.; beauty queens and golf carts take the street for the classic parade at 10 a.m. Red, white and woof.

Thursday, July 4, 11 a.m.: Catch the Carthage Rotary Club Independence Day parade. See the route.

Thursday, July 4, 5-10 p.m.: Party at Aberdeen Lake Park with an evening of live entertainment, food vendors, a kids zone including bounce houses, fireworks and more. Pets, alcoholic beverages, personal fireworks, and coolers are not allowed. Red, White and Woohoo.

Friday, July 5, 6 p.m.: Keep the party going with a 5th of July Freedom Celebration at the NAV. Enjoy food trucks, drinks and live band Whiskey Pines. There will also be a meet and greet from the Sandhills Bogeys baseball team. Fireworks begin around 9 p.m.; bring your own chair. Get tix here, fam.

Saturday, July 6, 4-7 p.m.: Celebrate with a backyard barbecue at Weymouth Center for the Arts & Humanities. DJ King Curtiss Carpenter of Star 102.5 will provide the soundtrack for a dance contest, patriotic costume contest and relay races. There’ll be hot dogs, drinks, a food truck, a waterslide and sprinklers. Tickets are $10; kids under 10 are free. Chill out with your grill out.
