Hey, Dryver

You may see a golf simulator in Tufts Park this weekend. It’s called Dryvebox, and it’s equipped with the same Trackman technology that other sims use. Franchise owner Ryan Kortze drove the trailer up from Tampa, Florida to be a part of the festivities at Tufts Park, but it’s not his first time in the ‘hurst.

He was stationed at what’s now Fort Liberty for nearly a decade and spent a lot of time in Moore County. Dryvebox came into the picture for Ryan after building a small golf simulator at home to bond with his son, Greyson. “I know how exciting it is to be in Pinehurst this week, especially after not being here for several years,” says Ryan.

Whether you’ve never swung a club or love the game, you can “play” a hole or two of No. 2 in the simulator from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Sunday.
