Park Across the Street

The Friends of Aberdeen Library have received a $35,000 grant from T-Mobile to create a garden park across from the new library that’s in the works on Exchange Street. The group was one of 25 recipients of the Hometown Grant, designed to help fund projects that enhance a community. The garden park design includes a pergola, water feature, benches, pathways and a pollinator garden. No word on if the new association with T-Mobile will eventually improve the town’s cell service.
