Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quality Engineer located in Trezzano sul Naviglio, Milano. The Quality Engineer will work within the Supply Chain team and will be responsible for ensuring the development and supervision of the product quality in compliance with requirements, process and procedures.
He/she will primarirly develop quality and manufacturing documentation (Quality Control Plan/Inspection and Test Plan, Welding Book, NDT procedures, Packing Specifications, Final Data Book) according to contractual requirements and project scope, while cooperating with planning team in order to ensure the quality of the products, i.e. performing expediting activities and quality inspections, or supervising external resources, according to QCP/ITP.
He/she will also have responsibility for the compliance of company certifications and their updates and will interface with Customer and Suppliers representatives in case of claim or audits, as well as certification bodies.
Objectives
Delivering Projects in line with contractual schedule, quality andfinancialtargets, managing internal and external resources and being focal point for customers on technical and commercial matters.
Qualifications
2-5 years manufacturing and quality engineering experience, preferably in the Oil&Gas sector
Strong communication skills and Team Work ability
Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality System, industrial company processes, welding standards, metallurgy, equipment machining, painting specifications and international regulations (ASME, EN, ISO, PED, etc.)
Level II qualification for NDE examinations, Welding Engineering skills are a plus
Availability for frequent travels to local vendors and short/long stays at company HQs in Italy
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Italian and English languages required, Turkish is a plus
