Process Engineer | Technology Development

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in technology development, including innovative and novel technologies assessment.
• technology assessment and technology due diligence, including technical and economic analysis of the strategic technology in scope.
• Evaluate and propose enhancements to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the assigned technologies under development.
• Prepare documentation and other specific deliverables, ensuring compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and schedules.
• Collaborate with other Discipline Engineers on technology and related topics.
• Assist in defining Scope of Work/Services with Licensors/Clients/Partners involved in relevant technology development projects.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and know-how transfer with a specific focus on lessons learned from previous experiences, projects and initiatives.
• Participate in the preparation of technology book, calculation models and digital twin of the new process.
• Stay updated on technical advancements and improvements within the discipline with the full support of the Company, through participation to events, congress, preparation of papers, posters.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in chemical engineering is mandatory.
• At least 4 - 5 years minimum of proven experience in technology development or process engineering in one of these fields:

1 - hydrogen/syngas and derivatives fuels/chemicals production, carbon capture technologies, including also gasification of biomass.

2 - sustainable polymers, biopolymers, chemical and mechanical recycling technologies

3 - sustainable/biofuels and biochemicals production

• Participation to projects of international relevance.
• Site experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, minimum level of English required is C1.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools. Proven experience in the use of process simulations and design tools.
