Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position:

We are looking for an NOC Relations Coordinator who has experience working in a dynamic, multi-cultural environment preferably in the multi-sport international events industry.

The resource we are looking for will be involved in the following activities:

  • Act as the main point of contact between the assigned National Olympic Committees and the Organizing Committee’s functional areas to ensure integrated planning and key information communication in a timely and reliable manner.
  • Guide the assigned clients through their pre-Games and Games-time operations and issue resolution by evaluating their needs and bringing them to the attention of the Organizing Committee’s functional areas with the view of finding the best solutions.
  • Liaise with different functional areas (FAs) on specific projects (e.g. Chefs de Mission Seminar, Accreditation process, Ticketing, Rate Card Catalogue, Transport services, Medical, Doping and others.
  • Review Service Level Agreements with different FAs.
  • Coordinate NOC pre-Games operational visits and Welcome Days with post-meeting report production.
  • Create and manage operational documents such as complex lists, tables, trackers, among others.
  • Support the writing of policies, procedures, and other operational documents.
  • Prepare presentations, progress reports and meeting minutes when necessary.

Requirements:

Skills

  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented, able to prioritise, deal with complexities and last-minute changes and requests.
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to work independently to resolve issues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record as a relationship builder with external stakeholders, and the Organizing Committee’s functional areas.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver within deadlines.
  • Time management skills.
  • Proactive approach and creating problem solving skills, ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Good presentation skills.

Knowledge

  • Excellent level of English. Knowledge of Italian and other languages will be considered an advantage.
  • Microsoft Office, Teams and Sharepoint. Knowledge of other project management tools will be considered an advantage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree. Master’s and/or Post Graduate courses will be considered as a plus.
