Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position:
The candidate will be responsible for the following activities:
Support in developing MOC operating and readiness plan
Support in developing MOC policies and procedures
Coordinate FAs partecipation in MOC
Support in managing MOC Issue Management System
Implement MOC specific readiness and training activities
Coordinate with functional area leads to ensure readiness activities are aligned with overall event objectives
Monitor progress and provide regular updates for readiness activities
Support in managing MOC team and activities during Games Time
Monitor event operations in real-time and manage responses to any issues or disruptions
Conduct regular briefings and debriefings with relevant stakeholders to ensure situational awareness
Monitor and manage incident reports, ensuring timely and appropriate responses
Oversee the operation of communication, surveillance, and event management systems within the MOC
Prepare and submit detailed reports on MOC operations and incidents
Provide post-event analysis and recommendations for future improvements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration or related disciplines
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in major event management and operations center roles
Ability to coordinate inputs, requirements and demands on numerous constituencies into a cohesive effort
Ability to simplify, synthetize and build powerful reports and presentations to support the programme
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong project management and organizational skills
Pro-active in flagging problems and proposing solutions
Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure
Track record in working with different stakeholders
Advanced user of Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Excellent writing and speaking skills in Italian and English
