Junior Process Engineer

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Role and Responsibilities:

Responding functionally to the SUEZ Design and construction Director for WTe plant and hierarchy Engineering Director in SUEZ Italy: to act as owner with WTe EPC contractor for the engineering matters (Process Discipline) raised up during project execution, being in contact with back-office engineering in SUEZ Italy to be fully up to date with project situation and progress.

To act as interface engineer with EPC site manager during erection activities in order to clarify and discuss any eventual subject linked to design.

To participate in project meetings, to discuss and propose best technical solutions.

To be fully acknowledge on all aspect of job and to be able to reply on the day to day technical issue (relevant to his/her disciplines) raised up from EPC in fully respect of guide lines given by Desing and Construction Director of the project

To organize on need basis meetings or calls in remote with different specialist fully respect of project guide lines in coordination with Construction Director of the project.

To be in touch with local partners for approval of engineering according to the approval step required, both from permit point of view and for normative as well.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

General requirement:

Process engineer incineration and/or gasification background. Experience in Waste to Energy is highly appreciated.

Education Requirements:

M.Sc in Chemical Engineering or equivalent

1-2 Years of experience in process Engineering roles

Languages required:

Italian: fluent

English: fluent

French: good proficiency would be appreciated.

Required technical Skills:

Basic knowledge in Process Engineering applied incineration or gasification waste lines.

Basic knowledge in environmental impact assessment (with focus on GHG emission assessment)

Microsoft Office (Excel and Powerpoint in particular)

Required behavior Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Teamwork spirit - Able to cooperate with colleagues at various levels in the organization and

Curiosity and appetite for learning

Target driven

Good problem solving approach
