We are looking for a Junior Back-end Developer to join our engineering team.
You will work together with the team responsible for building the ‘server-side' of our websites and web applications.
You should be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications.

Main responsibilities:
Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic
Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
Create and maintain software documentation
Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our websites
Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
Requirements
Problem-solving
Expertise with PHP, Laravel and MySQL
Basic expertise in HTML, CSS and Javascript
Basic expertise in Wordpress and basic concepts on theme development
Basic experience with Docker is a plus
Basic experience with serverless architectures is a plus
Understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
Good problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
Fluent in Italian and English
German is a plus
